I’m Kelli

I’m a Registered Dietitian, personal trainer, health nerd. I also love talking about all things hormones and gut health. I grew up as an athlete and have been in love with fitness & nutrition ever since. While I love being active, in college I realized my body was under a lot of stress. Both my mental and physical health began to give off red flags. With irregular & painful periods, cystic acne flares, anxiety, constant hunger & cravings, I began researching and changing one habit at a time. I was studying exercise science and nutrition in school, but learning how to apply these things to my health (& other human’s) has been a journey.

Changes to my exercise, nutrition & stress management have led to immense healing of my hormones and gut. I have learned to incorporate mind-body modalities to calm my nervous system. My favorites include subconscious reprogramming, meditation & acupuncture.

I believe we should love the food we eat and not live in a restrictive mindset. Balance looks different for all of us. I’m learning to have healthier outlets for my emotions & stress, so I’m better able to choose the foods that nourish me (& keep my symptoms under control).
